Direct Access

  1. On a Polycom phone, press the Home button. 

  2. Use the arrows keys to toggle over to Messages and select the button in the middle of the toggle button circle.

  3. Select Message Center by clicking the Select button.

  4. Select Connect.

  5. If prompted, enter the 4-digit PIN 1234 and press #.

  6. Then enter a new 4-digit PIN that is just for your extension.

  7. Once into the Message Center, press 1 to listen to your messages or 8 for personal options.

  8. If you would like to personalize your greeting press 2.

  9. Press 1 to record your greeting.

  10. Press 2 to record it again or press 3 to listen to your greeting.  


About the Voicemail PIN

The default PIN is 1234. The first time a user accesses their voicemail box, they will be prompted to set a new PIN which must be 4-digits or longer.

Remote Access

  1. From a phone number that is not assigned to the voicemail box, dial the 10-digit phone number.

  2. When the voicemail greeting plays, press #.

  3. Enter the 4-digit PIN and press #.

Voicemail Menu Options

Listen to Messages

Once logged in, press 1 to listen to messages. Use the following to navigate the menu:

  1. Press 1: Skip message

  2. Press 2: Save message

  3. Press 3: Erase message

  4. Press 9: Repeat message

  5. Press 0: Exit menu

Personalized Options

Once logged in, press 8 to access the personal options:

  1. Press 1: Change the PIN

  2. Press 2: Manage the greetings

    1. Press 1: Change the default greeting

    2. Press 2: Change the "busy" greeting

    3. Press 3: Change the "no answer" greeting

  3. Press 5: Forward your calls 

    1. Press 1: Forward all calls (then enter your destination)

    2. Press 2: Send calls to your line

  4. Press 9: Repeat personal options

  5. Press 0: Exit menu
