When reporting a problem with your Internet connection, please include the following:

1.     

  1. Room number (and building if you are not in your normal location).
  2. Date & Time the issue occurred
  3. Application, URL or website, or other indication of what you were trying to do. 
  4. Close ALL applications.
  5. Open a browser with only one (1) tab.
  6. Go to speedtest.net
  7. Click Change Server and select Somerville, MA
  8. Click GO.
  9. Once the test has finished, hold down the Option key and click on the wifi icon in the toolbar at the top.
  10. Take a screen shot by holding both the Shift, and Command keys, and hit the '3' key.
  11. Attach the screen shot file on your desktop to the Help Ticket.
