To correct this for Windows 7:


1.  Right-click on the Google Drive folder

2.  Click on Organize

3.  Click on Folder and Search Options

4.  Click on Search Tab

5.  Check the box "Don't use the index when searching in file folders for system files"

6.  Click on OK


To correct this for Windows 8:


1.  Right-click on the Google Drive Folder

2.  Click on View

3.  Select the drop-down arrow under "Option"

4.  Select the "Change folder and search options"

5.  Select Search

6.  Select "Don't use the index when searching in file folders for system files
7.  Click on Apply
