| How to Create an AppleID on your iPad |
1. Turn on your iPad
2. Click on Settings
3. Scroll down to Store and click on it, then click on Sign in
4. Choose Create a New Apple ID from the selection
5. Choose the appropriate Store by tapping Store and then the United States (if it does not already appear that way). Tap done to confirm your selection, then tap Next.
6. The next screen is the iTunes Terms and Conditions screen, review then scroll to the bottom and tap on Agree.
7. Tap Agree again when the confirmation appears.
8. On the next screen you will need to enter your email, password (must be at least 8 characters with 1 capital letter and at least 1 number), and choose and answer security questions. You can also enter an optional recovery email address. At the bottom click on Next.
9. The next screen is the billing screen, here you will enter credit card info, billing information and DOB (you may be able to skip entering the cc information if a card type is not selected already). At the bottom click on Next. If you do not wish to subscribe to emails, slide the button to the left to turn them off.
10. You will now see a screen that asks you to verify your email address, tap done and then go to your email account you registered with and look for the verification email.
11. Once you receive the verification email, click on the Verify Now Link within it the email. You will then be taken to a page asking for you to enter your AppleID email address and password to confirm the verification. Once you have entered them, select Verify address and you are done.
